Swaziland HR Information System stakeholders move forward 20 June 2007

Continuous efforts to organize and convene the Swaziland HRIS stakeholder group finally paid off when members met in Mbabane this late May. The objective of the meeting was to develop relevant and appropriate policy questions that help to determine what HR data needs to be collected, the priority of these needs, and the reports that need to be run on the HRIS system to produce the answers. The top-priority policy questions agreed upon included issues of deployment, the incoming workforce, training, attrition, and retention. The questions were sent to HRIS staff in Swaziland where relevant data will be assessed and answers developed.
