Global Health TV Report: Could new technologies solve global health problems? 15 June 2009

Global Health TV reports from the 36th Annual International Conference on Global Health, held recently in Washington DC. The theme of the conference was technology. Global Health TV talks with Shainoor Khoja of Roshan, an Afghan telecommunications company, about why wireless technologies are going to be crucial for the rebuilding of that country, while IntraHealth International CEO Pape Gaye and Karl Brown from the Rockefeller Foundation extol the virtues of open source software. Host Stephen Horn also finds the time to take a look around the conference’s technology expo to find out all about the latest innovations.
