Announcing the Release of iHRIS Manage and Qualify 3.1 15 August 2008

We are pleased to announce the release of a major upgrade to iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify.

Both systems now support customized reporting, which allows users to design and share reports to better analyze and aggregate data entered in the system. This new release of iHRIS Manage also includes an in-service training management module, which enables human resources departments to schedule employees for in-service trainings, evaluate their performance, and track competencies and continuing education units earned in trainings. The in-service training management module was piloted in Tanzania in July.

The full download includes the latest versions of all three components of the iHRIS Suite–Manage, Qualify and Plan–and all supporting software. Download the full iHRIS Suite from the Launchpad hosting site. iHRIS Manage 3.1 and iHRIS Qualify 3.1 may also be downloaded separately.

If you would like to try out any of the software programs before downloading, please access our demo sites for iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify.

We appreciate any feedback, suggestions and bug reports on our software–please contact us.

iHRIS Qualify Demonstration Published 21 September 2007

A live demonstration of the Capacity Project’s second human resources information system (HRIS) software product, iHRIS Qualify 2.0, is available in the HRIS Strengthening section of the Capacity Project’s website. iHRIS Qualify tracks training, licensing and certification of health workers from pre-service education through attrition. It resides with the licensing or certification authority for a health worker cadre. The current version incorporates much of the learning and feedback received from Version 1.0, which was piloted at the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council. A demonstration of iHRIS Manage, a human resources management system, is also available on the site. The code for both software products will be available for free download before the end of the year.
