Development Schedule

Accomplishments to Date

  • January 2006: iHRIS Plan prototype developed.
  • October 2006: iHRIS Qualify Version 1.0 developed and installed in Uganda Ministry of Health for use by Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council and other professional registries as pilot project.
  • December 2006: iHRIS Manage Version 1.0 developed and installed in Rwanda Ministry of Health as pilot project.
  • April 2007: iHRIS Manage Version 2.0 online demo launched on this website.
  • August 2007: iHRIS Qualify Version 2.0 online demo launched on this website.
  • September 2007: Core code for iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify (versions 2.0) released to the public on Launchpad.
  • March 2008: Versions 3.0 of iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify released on Launchpad.
  • June 2008: Offline Windows version of iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify released on Launchpad for users without an Internet connection.

July 2008

  • iHRIS Plan Version 1.0 code will be released to the Open Source community and available as a demo and download on this website.
  • New reporting functionality for iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify will be released (planned version 3.1).

August 2008

  • New training management modules for iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify will be released (planned version 3.1.1).
  • Version 3.1 of the Offline iHRIS tools planned for release.

September 2008

  • iHRIS Plan Version 1.1 will be released with high-priority fixes and features based on pilot test

2009

  • New features for iHRIS Manage and iHRIS Qualify will be released (planned version 3.2).
  • iHRIS Plan Version 2.0 will be released with extensive help and new users' guide.
  • Full technical documentation for all three systems will be completed and released.
  • Full code review of all core code planned to result in highly stable release.
